Accrue has specific expertise in the development and refurbishment of assets in the residential and student accommodation sectors. Its projects have ranged from entire new properties to substantial redevelopment of existing buildings. What characterises each of its projects is the Company’s ability to take into consideration the existing local surrounding and infrastructure, delivering homes which are fit for modern occupation.
Ladybarn House, Manchester:
Accrue Capital, in a joint venture with Development Securities (now U+I), purchased Ladybarn House, Fallowfield having identified an opportunity to refurbish and reposition the property as purpose built student accommodation. Accrue undertook the extensive development of the whole building on a phased basis to allow for continued occupation. The property was sold in 2015 to Empiric PLC following 3 years of 100% occupancy.
Mount Ephraim Road, Tunbridge Wells:
Accrue Capital, in joint venture with a UK pension fund, designed, developed and managed the full refurbishment and re-letting of the property. The project was complete on time and within budget.
Great Stone Road, Stretford:
Accrue Capital, in joint venture with PGIM, identified an opportunity to build new homes in a unique location next to Old Trafford Cricket Club and in a location where the number of homes needed vastly exceeds the current pipeline of expected development. Accrue Capital intends to build the scheme and are currently consulting with stakeholders on its proposed plans to deliver an asset to benefit the whole community.
